Crazy Coloring Book App Reviews

This is a nice application, with lots of pictures and which lets children easily make pretty pictures. It is inconvenient to navigate the various palettes of colours. I found I had to spend too long explaining to my children how to get from one palette to another... and why bother with palettes? Also, there are some bugs in the bucket fill which sometimes spill outside the selected area, and make it difficult to get the desired colour in the small areas. Overall nice effort.

After reading glaring reviews of this app, I decided to fork US$5 over to try it out. The concept of this "kids drawing program" is OK and pretty standard - apart from the music note-by-click, which is creative - but the drawings, rendering of the interface, stamps included, *everything* is ugly. Really. Drawings that came out of jagged 80s pixels, blurred and ill-implemented illustrations, you name it: ugly. Besides that, the program is well conceived, clear, easy to use, and pretty user-friendly - for which Im guessing it took all those good reviews. So, bottomline: unless your kid is under 9 years old, he/she will find these drawings ugly too. O conceito de "programinha de desenho" não tem nada demais - é bem-feito, interface amigável, bem pensado e fácil de usar - mas os desenhos que acompanham… *muito* muito feios e mal implementados. Todas as ilustrações, previews, os carimbos, e a interface no geral - tudo - parece ter sido feito na década de 80 e adaptado para rodar agora. Os desenhos são todos serrilhados, borrados e feios, simplesmente feios. Minha recomendação: se seu filho/sua filha tiver menos de 9 anos, vai curtir. Qualquer criança acima disso vai concordar comigo e vai achar tudo muito feio.

Nice idea but not there yet.

This coloring book is beyond awesome. It is one of the best for coloring and even nice for adults who like to color. So nice on my mac and so much fun.

my daughter likes this very much. but its not well drawn. sometime when you would go color in like a toe or something th lines arent connected and it would fill up like the whole background and parts of the other object. she loves it but please fix that little issue ASAP!

My 5 year old twin girls play on the computer more than me now!

It was great fun for my 4 year old. She was already familiar with the concept of this program because of a similar app on the IPhone. This helped her improve her mouse skills.

My 4 year old granddaughter loves to work this and actually does pretty well. The one thing its missing is a way to send a picture via email from within the program. You can save it to a file and then email it yourself. Anyway, good program. I recommend it! Billy Bob Badd

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves this application. It gives him an easy project he can do by himself and he takes great self-pride in what he creates. The program provides great hand/eye coordination for the little ones. I highly recommend this app!

-Undo/Redo is only one deep. -Bucket shading does not fill what you expect, leaving gaps sometimes. -Sluggish when flipping through the coloring book. -Sluggish when using crayon in the largest size. Cannot keep up with mouse.

I opened this for my kids, and an astronut opened up. After they were dont they couldnt close it or sart a new one. I can save it to a file but I cant even figure out how to open a new page for them. Huge dissapointment. Wish I could return.

I got this for my granddaughter and I thought it would have lots of pictures to color. In fact there are very few and all space oriented. The tools are fine but she is already bored with this.

You should be able to use the crayon and be able to fill around it not over it like it isnt even there. It should be that what you crayon in becomes lines in the picture that the fill goes around.

We need some fish and mermaids. We like the music and stamps. Very entertaining

Cool game for the kids and I but no printing feature. Would be better if we could print.

We just purchased this app but unfortunately unable to browse our own simple drawings to color in side the app.. and this makes me give only 1 star to the app. it could worth the price if it just had the browsing ( uploading ) function
